At The Gambian Children’s Fund, our aim is to transform the lives of underprivileged children in The Gambia, one of Africa’s smallest nations.
We are dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty by providing access to quality education, essential resources, and a safe environment that empowers children to reach their full potential.
WHAT WE DO
We are proud to partner with Joyce’s International School, a vital educational hub in Kunkajang Keitaya. We are rebuilding and improving school facilities, funding scholarships, providing essential learning materials, and training dedicated teachers.
We are ensuring every child has the chance to learn and grow in a nurturing environment.
OUR COMMITMENTS
Beyond education, we foster a strong community by creating safe spaces and promoting environmental sustainability. Through eco-friendly initiatives, we help protect the environment for future generations while supporting the well-being of children today.
We are committed to gender equality. We actively encourage both girls and boys to enroll and graduate, ensuring every child has an equal opportunity to succeed.
2025 UPDATE
2025 has been a busy year for us at The Gambian Children’s Fund and at the school in Gambia. With your help and donations, we were able to start projects to replace the crumbling toilet block with a new eco-friendly biodigester toilet, fix the roof, give our teachers training, give the whole school a refresh, and much, much more!
